This presentation centers on the multifaceted roles played by neutrophil reactive oxygen species (ROS) in orchestrating host defense against bacterial urinary tract infection (UTI) and modulating the cell’s inflammatory response to Uropathogenic E. coli, the predominant causative agent of UTI.
