Post-Doctoral Fellow Position

A post-doctoral fellowship position is currently open for a motivated individual to pursue studies to define the molecular mechanisms of innate immune receptor and inflammasome activation by fungal pathogens, including Candida albicans and Candida auris. This position will be funded initially by a VA Merit Award. The PI also holds an academic appointment in the Departments of Pathology and the Center for Global Health at Case Western Reserve University, with laboratories housed both at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Hospital and at CWRU in a multi-disciplinary, modern research building.

Qualifications: MD or PhD is required with a preference for degrees in the fields of immunology or microbiology. At least 1+ years of post-doctoral experience in immunology, microbiology, or molecular biology preferred as well as documentation of scientific accomplishments including an established record of scientific publications. Must be US citizen.
