Postdoctoral Research Fellow

A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available immediately within the Center for Experimental Therapeutics and Reperfusion Injury at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School to study how resolution of inflammation interfaces with tissue repair (see http://spitelab.bwh.harvard.edu/).  Our lab is broadly interested in the biological roles of lipid mediators in the context of innate immunity, vascular biology, and tissue repair. The candidate should have experience working with animal models of inflammation, technical expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology, as well as a willingness to learn to new techniques.  Experience with flow cytometry and mouse colony management is desired. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the preparation of manuscripts and reports, and to regularly present their findings at Center meetings, lab meetings, and national/international symposia.  Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a relevant area of biomedical sciences, a strong record of productivity, and excellent communication skills.  The candidate must be available to start the position immediately if selected.  Please submit your CV and names/contact information of three individuals that can provide academic references upon request.
