Resource Technologist A   

Join a team conducting wet-bench work to support clinical research.  The primary duty is to process and cryopreserve blood samples, and additional work may include isolation of cells from other human tissues or organs, assisting with sample transfer or shipping, and conducting assays such as flow cytometry or ELISA.  Biosafety training, SOP training and certification, use of a laboratory information management system, and strict adherence to the unit’s record-keeping mechanisms and processes are all provided and required.  This position is considered essential and will be required to work some weekends and holidays, and during university closures.
